It's almost time for... NaAdWriMoNo 2025!
Come one, come all, to the first annual NaNoWriMo-adjacent Writing Month in November! The loss of the official NaNoWriMo platform, while no devastating, is no excuse to let our writing community crumble! So, here I proudly present: a blogspot website! Okay, look, I know it can't compare to the old NaNo site, what with forums and users and so forth, but it does have the basic functionality- being able to post one's writing as it progresses. So the way this will work, I think, is that I will make a daily post each day in November, and we can all respond in the comments with either a link to our preferred writing platform (or Google docs, etc) or a quick update on word count/what we wrote that day/etc. I guess it's an accountability tool, but really it's an excuse for friends to connect over a shared hobby. So, okay, I think that's it! I'm going to make a post today or tomorrow where we can share our plans for writing next month. Have fun and happy writing!
